Hamilton High School

War Cry

I was recently requested to insert the Hamilton High War Cry into our Web Site. I suspected that there would be some argument about what it was, because I remember the War Cry changed during the time I was at Hamilton (1966 to 1970). So I requested input from all ex-Hamiltonians and the result was Two War Cries, which follow:-

First, the War Cry as remembered by Andy Olver (1965 – 1971)

AseHamba! (leaders)

kuBani? (reply)

Kangela! (leaders)

Kangela kuBani? (reply)

The Second offer was received from:

Ross Shaw-Johnston (1974 – 1979)

Tony Jeanson (1969 – 1972)

Peter van Dyk ( ? )
